Student Resources
At TAWC, we’re 100% dedicated to your success. Whether it’s digital resources, a qualified professional, or award-winning technology, you are never without the resources that you need.
Student Services
TAWC recognizes the professional, academic, and personal experiences that adult learners bring with them to the classroom. Through Prior Learning Assessment (PLA), you can earn college credit for knowledge and skills you already have.
SOUL’s KnowledgePath customizes instruction to your unique needs by suggesting learning modalities such as text, videos, audio clips, and interactive exercises that are most likely to help you learn about the subject you’re studying.
SOUL provides students with virtual learning communities to engage and network with other TAWC students who share their goals and professional interests. Program directors and faculty members facilitate these online interactions so you’ll typically learn about professional associations, read articles on topics in your chosen field, join practice-based discussions, and explore relevant job postings.
Our arrangement with Tutor.com arranges for you to be provided with 20 hours of personal tutoring per semester. Their dedication to providing 24/7, on-demand services is directly in line with our mission to provide higher education to women on their own schedules.
